But here we go...So I was in NYC for a week, let's just say the amount of things I crammed in one week are PRETTY AMAZING! From working in the lab with Krucial Keys to going to Irie Jam festival with my homies....I had a blast. PERIOD. A lot of life changing experiences....anyhow I am more than proud to say that I had the opportunity to perform at the Parish Room at the House of Blues the day after my b.day, so amazing. Reggae Rising 2008 guest performance with Ishi Dube

The first weekend of August, as I mentioned before was a crazy weekend! I got to spend time with family and friends and very abruptly was asked to perform with my good friend Ishi Dube from Arcata, California. The Reggae Rising festival has grown to be California's largest reggae festival. Over 15,000 people to be exact. Other performers were, Collie Budz, Junior Reid, Beres Hammond, UB40, the list goes on and on. Check the pics below of my guest appearance with Ishi Dube and the Lion Camp band backed by the Massagana Band.

Magic Carpet!

This past weekend I attended Reggae Rising, California's largest Reggae festival, I've had the opportunity to perform there two times in the past...good times. The weekend was a bit hectic, helping my mother sell her fashonista rasta gear to the masses. One surprise during the festival was being brought on stage to sing with my good friend reggae singer Ishi Dube (pictures soon to be posted), but then I was given another surprise...a magic carpet! Designers hailing from Northern California designed a carpet off of my logo design, the logo for my indie record label Mountain Moon Records. I might just use it when I'm on stage.....or meditation.. OMMMMM!!

Luna Angel Live at Temple Bar, July 31st

The night was amazing! I was featured on the monthly party "Reflections" brought to you by beatboxer Joshua Silverstein. I shared the stage yet again with DJ Afrocuts (ZAP MAMA), also to perform were other singers, rappers that graced the stage.
The high light of my night was meeting the one and only Krucial Keys, Alicia Key's main man! What an amazing and humble individual. I felt pretty special and lucky that he took time out of his busy schedule to come to my show! Krucial also introduced me to another heavyweight in the industry, Ommas from the group SA-RA (producer for Onyx, Run DMC, Lauryn Hill to name a few!). Check them out!!! Check the pix of Krucial an I!
